Antefil’s solution
Our patented technology coats each reinforcing fibre with exactly the right amount of polymer — before the fibres are even formed into yarn. Because coating happens at the fibre level, not the textile level, there’s no impregnation step left downstream.
The coating is applied in-line with the glass-spinning process itself, at full production speed. It adds a capability and removes a bottleneck: existing glass-fibre output and efficiency are unaffected.
Award-winning technology
Our technology was developed at ETH Zurich and filed as an award-winning patent protecting the way we produce our fibres, how they are converted into structures, and the fibre properties which enable these processes.
Consolidation of hybrid fibres
Transformed into textiles, our hybrid fibres turn into drapable organosheets that convert into lightweight structures almost instantaneously — simply by applying heat and a minimum amount of pressure.
