Converts into finished parts with minimal heat and pressure, cutting cycle times and energy use

High quality

Aerospace grade laminate quality with lowest void content and full fibre wet-out, resulting in high mechanical performance

Easy switch

Only minor or no process adaptation needed

Weldable

No need for adhesives results in reduced assembly time, and recyclability at end of life

Recyclable

Supports a circular use of composite materials, no more landfilling

Safe

No special personal protection needed during processing

Drapeable

Flexible textiles enable complex part geometries

Affordable

Cost-efficient processing combined with an affordable feedstock material

Market segments

Mobility — Energy — Industry

Automotive

Mobility

Electric vehicle battery carriers/enclosures, front-end module (FEM) carriers, underbody shields, seat structures, crash boxes, bumper beams, door modules, load floors, and structural brackets.

Transportation

Mobility

Interior structural panels, semi-structural exterior cladding and cabin components, sanwich panel skins, and hydrogen tanks.

Wind power

Energy

Wind turbine blades can’t be recycled and end up in landfills because of the materials involved. We enable circular material use with our meltable plastics and offer reduced cycle time and a reduction of ancillary materials during blade production.

HV insulators

Energy

Antefil’s material is pre-destined for pultruded E-glass composite rods, which have to combine high mechanical load-bearing strength with electrical insulation and outstanding resistance to corrosion.

Construction

Industry

All applications where steel is being displaced by composites — most notably reinforcement bars (rebar) for bridges, tunnels, and car parks, where corrosion resistance and higher tensile strength allow slimmer, lighter concrete structures. Unlike thermoset FRP, our thermoplastic matrix can be reheated and bent on-site, making it practical for stirrups and hooked connectors. This also supports circular use of production scrap, reinforcing our sustainability positioning with a concrete, construction-specific proof point.

Model making

Industry

Antefil replaces unhealthy and labor-intensive wet hand lamination in mould and tool making with dry, pre-coated thermoplastic fibre that’s draped and heat-consolidated instead of chemically cured. This eliminates styrene/VOC removing the need for extraction systems and easing compliance. It also delivers more consistent fibre and void content than hand-wetted lay-up, and damaged tooling can be reheated and repaired rather than scrapped.
